Lahaina Fires Hit CVHS Alumni Roger Baker Hard

Donation protected
A good friend and CVHS Class of 71 Alumni, Roger Baker, has lived in Lahaina, Hawaii for many years making his living in the art community. His modest home on Luakini Steet, right behind Front Street was completely destroyed by fire along with most of the Lahaina community in Tuesday’s devastating Maui fires. He got out with only the clothes he was wearing. Roger is ok and fortunate enough to be able to stay at a friend’s house in Maalea as the fires rage on in Maui.

My name is Ellen Schauer. I grew up in Chula Vista, California and went to Chula Vista High School with Roger Baker as did many of my Facebook friends who are aware of Roger’s plight. Although we know thousands are affected, myself and several of Roger’s friends would like to raise funds to help get him back on his feet and find a new place to call home. All funds raised will be forwarded to Roger as soon as possible to help him buy food and clothing and hopefully find a permanent place to live when things settle down.

Thank you in advance for ANY amount you can donate to help Roger.  Praying for all who are affected.
