Lahaina fire resident Patricia Prats and family.

Hi, my name is Gabe and I’m fundraising for my sister Patricia Prats and her family in Lahaina that have been impacted by the recent devastating fires in Maui. Unfortunately her place of residence and place of work burned to the ground leaving her and close family in a tough and dire economic situation. They have been longstanding great members of the Lahaina community for the past fifteen years.

Patricia started working in downtown Lahaina as a waitress at restaurants and later on started bringing extra income moonlighting making her own jewelry pieces to sell in shops there. Needless to say that is all gone now,

During the day of the fires she helped her daughter, son and two little grandchildren evacuate safely finding shelter until the fires had passed. As most, they were caught by surprise and left with very little in their car thinking they would soon come home, but we all know now how everything was devastated leaving them only with what she quickly had packed.

Now she is on a plan to restart their life in the island and find housing for a place of residence. Until things slowly come back to normal in Lahaina she hast started getting certified to become a yoga instructor, reinventing herself to earn a leaving, but in the meantime with no jobs available the bills keep coming and she really needs help now to get through this transition.
