Lahaina Fire: Estabillo & Balmores Recovery

Recently, a devastating fire swept through Lahaina, ravaging a majority of the town. Like many others, the homes of both the Estabillo and Balmores families were in the path of destruction, forcing them to flee for their lives. We are deeply grateful that my grandparents, parents, three siblings, their pets, as well as my aunt, uncle, and their three children, are safe. However, they now find themselves relying on temporary shelters.

Compounding the urgency of their situation, my grandparents suffer from COPD. My grandmother requires oxygen 24/7, making their displacement not just a matter of shelter but also a serious health concern.

While I currently reside outside the disaster-stricken area and feel a profound sense of helplessness due to the distance, I am determined to do everything within my power to help. I, Maricris, am reaching out on behalf of the Estabillo and Balmores families to humbly request any monetary support you can offer. This will directly assist in supporting their immediate needs, ensuring my grandmother's health requirements are met, and in the eventual rebuilding of their homes.
