Lahaina Fire Destroyed Neptune’s Den Tattoo

Aloha. My name is Heidi and my husband Eric and I owned Neptune’s Den Tattoo on Front Street in Lahaina. On Tuesday that business was engulfed in flames and flattened along with the rest of Front Street and much of Lahaina Town. Several of our artists lost their homes, pets, and all their possessions in the fires and we have all suddenly lost our jobs. And one of them has a wedding coming up. Tattoo artists are not eligible for unemployment and these people are our ohana. Many friends, former clients and shop ohana have reached out in the 24 hours asking how they can help us. We’re collecting these monies to help support our artists during this heartbreaking and incredibly stressful time. And maybe to help us rebuild in the future.

All donations will used to make Eric Tyler (@alien_ink_maui), Bob Vanderberg (@bobtattoos), Dani Fravega (@fravegatattoo) and Shelby Schweitzer (@mamajonestattoos) whole again as tattoo artists so they can get back to doing what they love. Money will be used to purchase tattoo machines, equipment, inks and supplies. It will also hopefully be used to rebuild Neptunes Den in the future.
