Lahaina wildfire disaster :Vea family
Donation protected
Aloha, my name is Sheilaika Vea and I am speaking on behalf of my parents, Ellaine Vea (mom) and Harry Vea (dad). 11 years ago my mom and I migrated to Maui from the Philippines in hopes of pursuing a better life. In 2016, my dad joined us here in Maui and ever since we have been living together as a family. Unfortunately, on August 8, the house ( rent )we had been living in on Lower Lahainaluna Road, was burnt to the ground due to the ravaging and rapid Lahaina wildfire that took the lives, homes, and businesses of many. Due to the strong winds which made the fire spread very quickly to our subdivision, we had very little time to grab all of our precious belongings. We were lucky enough to have brought a few days worth of clothes and our important documents. We are humbly asking for your help so that my family can begin to rebuild from this tragedy. Any donations, big or small, would be greatly appreciated! Mahalo for your help!
