Laffette Frison, Jr

Laffette Frison, Jr., 76 years old, relocated from New Hempstead, New York to his place of birth, Quincy, Florida in 2018 and departed from this Earth on Saturday, December 26, 2020.  Affectionately known as “Buddy” to friends and family, Laffette was known for his tremendous character, radiant smile and giving heart.  Laffette was a very conscientious individual and constantly strove to improve upon the human condition which is why he excelled in his 40+ year career as a social worker.  Even after losing the ability to walk in 2010 due to spinal infection, Laffette still strove to keep a positive disposition and was always noted to be inspiring those around him.  As a result, he managed to develop a caring following of people in every hospital and nursing facility he was in.  Even in the face of losing his independence and watching his quality of life decrease over the past 10 years, Laffette still managed to help change other’s lives for the better.  Laffette was an extremely devout father and leaves behind two sons, 34 and 32, and a daughter, 41.  This time has been trying for the family and loved ones he leaves behind.  Your donations will go directly towards his funeral arrangements.  Let’s try and keep Laffette’s legacy of giving and being caring alive!
