Hi everyone, My beloved Mom LaFaye Wilson Lewis Cole, 83 passed away July 8, 2022. She laid down to rest during her regular morning routines and never woke up due to heart failure at her home in Alma, GA. She was pretty amazing to keep so active in her later years while living her life to the fullest within her faith in God, books, travel, and family get togethers(which she adored) all while being a person that gave so much to others in need. In my opinion she should be a saint, its the truth and I will miss her terribly until we're reunited someday.
I am currently asking for donations to help cover the cost of Mom's funeral service. We need to raise $4200 in order to be able to afford the funeral service. We were surprised to find out the Life insurance policy she has is only worth $3000. The estimate we received from Crosby Funeral Home in Alma, GA was over $7000. If you know me or my family we would never ask for help if we have the means, honestly I hate doing this but if you can donate anywhere between $1 to $500, me and my family will very grateful with whatever you can comfortably give.
Here is a link to the fundraiser for Lafaye Wilson: https://gofund.me/46753792 Please consider donating, as any amount will truly help our family during this difficult time.
Thank you so much and have a wonderful day.
LaFaye was mother to Deborah Kay, Randy, Reggie, and Shane Lewis. Randy precedes her in death. Born to Tulaf and Jimmy Wilson, October 14, 1938. LaFaye was the 2nd of 7 children. She is preceded in death by her parents, her sisters Janet, Virginia, and Lona Mae, and her brothers Carey and George. Her youngest sister Sharon Wilson Taylor carries on the remaining legacy.
She loved life and equally loved to serve others. You were always welcomed in her home.
We take comfort in knowing she is reunited with her parents, siblings, and son. In addition to those mentioned above, she is survived by nieces, nephews, and cousins who she loved as her very own.
