Help Laeyla and Brock honor their dad

My name is Rhiannon and on Saturday, May 10, 2025, my children, Laeyla and Brock Carter, lost their father, Corey, in a motorcycle accident in Machesney Park. We had just left Rock Cut State Park for prom pictures with Laeyla and were on our way to my house so he could see Brock for a while.

Corey did not have life insurance or any money in savings. My children would like to retrieve what is left of their dad's Harley from the impound lot; however, today's cost is $375 plus $45 per day. Unfortunately, they can't release the bike to us until a death certificate is issued, which could take up to 2 weeks. So that number will continue to climb. We are also trying to raise money to be able to have a memorial or celebration of life that he so much deserves. My children have endured so much after losing their big brother 3 years ago. We appreciate any and all donations and understand those who can only offer condolences. I hope you all can help Brock and Laeyla recover their father's Harley and be able to celebrate his life.
