Get Lil Lady Surgery After Dog Attack & Abandoned

HI! My name is Amanda. I adopted Lil Lady from the City of Abilene Animal Shelter. Lady, 4 pound chihuahua was brutally attacked by another dog and left for dead. She was picked up by animal services with infected lacerations and puncture wounds. I fell in love with her and brought her home. 

She was evaluated by my vet and she has multiple fractures in her pelvis. Her only hope is to get surgery. She must go to a specialist because local vets do not have the equipment to perform surgery on such a small animal. I received an estimate of $5,500-$7000. I had no idea that she had such extensive injuries when I committed to being her mom. But she is my responsibility now and I want to give her the life she deserves. She will not have a good quality of life and may have to be humanely euthanized if I cannot get this surgery for her.  

Any excess money will be donated to the Abilene Texas Animal Shelter. You can contact Judge Ely Animal Hospital in Abilene, Texas to verify that Lady is a patient there. The surgery is currently planned on being performed late next week.
