Lady’s emergency medical bill & rescue

8/8 UPDATE! As some of you may know - Lady was running around Milford with her sister. Thanks to South Lyon Murphy Rescue - we were able to catch her last night in my driveway. As of now, no owner has reached out most likely because they seemed to have been dumped. We are currently in search for experience fosters or a rescue for these two but until we find a safe place, they will continue to stay with me. I have opened the GoFundMe back up to help cover the costs to get these two updated on shots, spayed, and microchipped. Thank you again to everyone that has contributed and followed along with our journey.

8/7 UPDATE! Thank you to friends, family and the Milford community we raised more than enough to cover lady’s medical bills! She was treated for all her wounds and overall is healthy and rest with us until we find her forever home! She has an additional vet appointment tomorrow to receive all her shots and hopefully scheduled to be spayed and chipped.

Hi Everyone!

My name is Jude. Myself and the rest of Milford TWP have been trying to catch and rescue this poor dog who has been running around injured for the past couple days. She’s a runner! Luckily I woke up this morning only to find her sleeping in our yard, under a tree and in the rain.

I am currently at MedVet in commerce with her. She does not have a chip but has some serious wounds that need immediate treatment. This requires her to receive bloodwork and sedation. I can tell she has been wandering the streets for a while as she has old and new wounds.

We have not located the owner (if there is one). However she needs immediate care. Unfortunately the vet has informed me this will cost anywhere from 700$-1000$ at least and it’s a lot for me to cover on my own and also a stray.

I’m creating this GoFundMe in hopes that others would help contribute to “Lady’s” medical bill and hopefully finding her owners, if not a forever home for this sweet girl because she deserves.
