Yesterday morning I got the heartbreaking call from my good friend, whom most of you know as LadyGwenuveire75, that her foster mother was moved to hospice care. They predict her to pass within the next few days, complications of a bad infection. Lady G has fought for us and beside us, giving of her time without ever asking for anything in return. Now she needs us.

 

Her mom's last few days should not be spent agonizing about how her family will lay her to rest and pay her last few expenses. They should be spent taking in each and every moment together, laughing through tears as they recall their favorite memories and share their bittersweet goodbyes.

 

It was her mom's wish to be buried and to have a memorial. Combining those costs with her anticipated final expenses, we need to raise $12,000. The funds will go directly to the Edwards Family, her family, who I've coordinated this GoFundMe with.

 

Her foster mom molded her into the social justice warrior and fierce advocate for all people that floods our For You Pages with calls to action every day. Suffice to say, there would be no Lady G without her foster mom.
