Dear Families,
Every year all Ladybird Academy corporate owned locations band together joining the nation to raise funds in support of bringing forth awareness of Breast Cancer. Historically speaking, the generosity and philanthropy shown by our families has been largely successful in terms of the monetary contributions we have been able to allocate to the American Cancer Society. We cannot thank you enough for your participation over the years.
This October, we will continue to honor our commitment to spread such awareness; however, it is with a heavy heart that we do so, this year, in a more personal plea.
Last month, the Assistant Director at our Fishhawk location, Miss Kaitlyn, was diagnosed with a malignant metastatic tumor located on her spine – only to later find out that the tumor was a direct result from a primary malignant mass located on her breast. Since then, Kaitlyn’s health has taken a turn for the worse – spreading to various locations (internal spine, bones, hip) as well as limiting her mobility due to Spinal Cord Compression and the deterioration of multiple vertebrae – requiring immediate invasive surgery.
Hired as a Lead Pre-K Teacher in 2020, the management team at Ladybird Academy of Fishhawk had no doubt that Kaitlyn’s addition to their staff would prove to be a noteworthy one. A mother of two boys, Robert (age 4) and Kohen (age 3), a recent newlywed, and a steady force within the field – Kaitlyn has, and continues to, prove herself to fit the mold that we strive for in terms of commitment, execution, and outstanding leadership in her role. Her loyalty and dedication to the company has been without falter and the families that have been personally touched by her work both inside and outside of the classroom serve as true testimonies to her character and pledge: to offer only the BEST for your child.
This year, Carl and Barbara Hansla (Owner/Operators of Ladybird Group) have decided without hesitation to allocate all funds raised by all Ladybird Academy locations nationwide to Kaitlyn and her family. As they fight the all too commonly known battle against Breast Cancer, along with the residual difficulties that come with her diagnosis, it is our hope that you will you will join us in her fight, our fight, to support Kaitlyn while raising awareness of Breast Cancer so we may have a positive impact on research and studies done by the American Cancer Society, securing a future without such destitutions, suffrage, and loss at the hand of this terrible ailment.
If you would like to contribute to our cause and assist in the support of Kaitlyn’s hardships as she faces her battle head on, we have provided you the opportunity to do so by contributing to our companywide fundraiser through, GoFundMe!
We cannot thank you enough for considering your personal commitment to our fight against Breast Cancer, and the show of support to our cherished member of management, Miss Kaitlyn, by alleviating any suffrage or adversity she will so undeservedly experience.
As always, our promise remains consistent to offer only the BEST to not only your children, but to those that cherish, educate, and influence them every day. #HerFightIsOurFightLBA
Sincerely,
Linzi Hansla
