Hello, my name is Richard Hanchett and I'm Ruth Marie Terry's son. I have created this GoFundMe to help support two funeral services and marker stones for her in Provincetown MA and Whitwell, TN. I never got to meet her and only found out who she was in 2017 only to find out she had been missing since 1974. On October 31, 2022, I was contacted by the Massachusetts FBI and State police regarding my missing mother Ruth Marie Terry. Through geology and DNA technology, they had identified a Jane Doe known only as "The Lady of the Dunes" in Provincetown, Massachusetts. With blessed support, I will be able to put her to rest.
