To our dear family & friends:

As you may or may not be aware, Nate went into liver failure in mid-November 2021. He initially had a week long stay in the hospital but then was cleared to come back home to continue care. He unknowingly contracted COVID while home and was sent back into the hospital, where he was in COVID isolation. Once he was cleared of COVID, he was put on the liver transplant list. Thanks to the selflessness of another family, Nate received a complete liver transplant at the end of December 2021. Nate continues his recovery in the hospital, but still is facing complications and will have a long road ahead of him. Due to current COVID restrictions, Carley is able to visit, but not allowed to stay overnight with him.

His loving wife, Carley, has been carrying so much on her shoulders during this time. She has been balancing all of Nate's medical needs, caring for their 3 children, continuing to work as much as she is able, and has taken on all of the daily tasks of life.

We are hoping to help ease some of the burden for Carley (as well as Nate), by helping her financially. Money is never something someone should have to worry about while a loved one is so seriously sick, but as we all know, it is a very harsh reality, that expenses add up quickly while one is in a hospital long term.

The money we raise, will go directly to Nate and Carley to help initially, with travel expenses for Carley as she travels back and forth from the hospital, for parking at the hospital, gas, food, and her hotel stay so she can stay in the city where Nate is. Additionally, we would like to bless them by helping cover medical bills when they start pouring in.

Above all, please be in prayer for this sweet family as they walk this difficult road. Pray for Nates compete healing, for strength for Carley and for their three precious children. We know God is able to do abundantly more than we can even think to ask.
