Supporting Prosthetic Limbs for Survivors

The Prophet ﷺ said: “Whoever relieves the hardship of a believer in this world, Allah will relieve their hardship on the Day of Judgment.” (Muslim)

Our brothers and sisters in Gaza have suffered unimaginable loss, with many enduring life-changing injuries, including the loss of limbs due to the ongoing war. The devastation has left thousands in desperate need of medical assistance, yet access to essential care remains extremely limited. The cost of prosthetic limbs is far beyond their reach, making it nearly impossible for them to regain mobility and independence.

Abdullah Aid is delivering prosthetic limbs in Egypt to individuals who have lost their limbs due to the crisis in Palestine. Working closely with the Ministries of Health in Gaza and Egypt, they are dedicated to providing essential support to those in need. The people of Gaza are facing extreme hardship, with limited access to basic necessities like food and hygiene, and prosthetic limbs can offer them a renewed chance at life.

These prosthetic limbs will help individuals regain mobility, allowing them to carry out daily tasks with dignity and independence. By addressing both the physical and emotional needs of those affected, this initiative offers hope and the chance to rebuild their lives amidst the devastation.

The cost of providing a prosthetic limb:

• Mobile Foot: £1,500

• Above the Elbow: £2,500

• Mobile Foot & Free Knee: £3,000

• Below Elbow (Electrical Limb): £3,250

Our target is to raise funds for a minimum of 50 individuals, giving them the ability to walk again, regain independence, and restore hope in their lives.

To support this vital cause, we are hosting a special Ladies Night for Gaza—an evening of sisterhood, unity, and purpose. All proceeds from the event will go directly toward Abdullah Aid’s prosthetic limbs campaign.
