Many people have been blessed to know Ladi Elena, whether through her professional life, her outreach efforts, or simply through her generous and loving friendship.

Back in 2020, Ladi was diagnosed with Alzheimer's. It has been a long and difficult journey for her and her family. Ladi currently resides in Quito in an assisted living facility with her husband, Arthur Bort, who is fighting his own battle with Parkinson's Disease. Here, they receive 24-hour care and assistance.

As she has entered the late stages of Alzheimer's, we are committed to providing her as much comfort and dignity as possible. However, this commitment comes at a great economic cost, and we are reaching out to her community for support.

Your generous support will help Ladi access medication to help slow down the devastating effects of this condition and give her a bit of comfort as she courageously faces the final stages of her journey.

Muchas personas han sido bendecidas al conocer a Ladi Elena, ya sea a través de su vida profesional, sus esfuerzos de alcance comunitario o simplemente a través de su amistad generosa y amorosa.

En 2020, Ladi fue diagnosticada con Alzheimer. Ha sido un viaje largo y difícil para ella y su familia. Actualmente, Ladi reside en Quito en una residencia de asistencia con su esposo, Arthur Bort, quien está librando su propia batalla contra la enfermedad de Parkinson. Aquí, reciben cuidado y asistencia las 24 horas.

Ahora que ha entrado en las etapas avanzadas del Alzheimer, estamos comprometidos a brindarle todo el confort y dignidad posibles. Sin embargo, este compromiso viene con un gran costo económico, y estamos buscando el apoyo de su comunidad.

Su apoyo generoso ayudará a Ladi a acceder a medicamentos para ayudar a desacelerar los devastadores efectos de esta condición y darle un poco de confort mientras enfrenta valientemente las etapas finales de su viaje.
