Lacy's Road to Recovery

Family is everything! As many of you know, my sister Lacy has been struggling with some major health issues since March of this year. She has been in and out of hospitals, to numerous doctors from Tampa to Gainesville, with no solutions or treatment suggestions. On August 17th the world changed for Lacy in a drastic way, she had an episode (which had somewhat become the norm) but when she came out of it this time she had no idea where she was or why she was there. After many discussions and questions we came to the realization that Lacy thinks it is October of 2009. She has no memory of anything after October 2009 to the present. No memory of her own wedding, not the birth of her own children, not my wedding, not the birth of her niece which was only 6 days prior to her memory loss, and the list just goes on. This has been a very sad and scary time for our family. We are currently working on treatment options for Lacy, however they are VERY expensive and we are trying our best to get her the help she needs. We so desperately want Lacy to be well. Her husband and children need her, we need her as a sister, a daughter, an aunt and a friend. Any help that you can give will be greatly appreciated, whether that be through prayer, monetary doantion, or moral support. We as a family are crying out to the Lord for guidance in finding treatment and healing for Lacy. Thank you to everyone that has been and will be praying for our family, we are truly grateful!
