Hello Everyone! My name is Lavina.

My sister, Lacy, was involved in a terrible car accident around 3 am, Saturday, Feb 8th. She was a backseat passenger riding with a friend of hers, his cousin, and the cousin’s wife. Unbeknownst to Lacy, the person driving the vehicle had high levels of alcohol in his system and ended up spinning out on the highway in a single-car accident, and hit the median right on the passenger side where she was sitting.

Come to find out, the driver of the vehicle DOES NOT have car insurance. My sister has been injured pretty badly and was the only one injured to her severity. She’s been in the hospital since Saturday morning(update: they sent her home in a cab because her insurance ran out ), has had to have a couple of blood transfusions, has broken bones in her jaw, she had to have oral surgery to repair her tongue (plastic was lodged in her mouth, and she almost lost half of her tongue), and some of her teeth are now messed up. Her road to recovery will take some time.

If I could cover everything I know my sister needs, I would cover it all in a heartbeat, but I can’t, so it’s my prayer that we can get some help from anyone that can help.

The funds will be used to help Lacy pay out-of-pocket medical expenses she’ll incur, and to help pay her bills while she is out of work.
