Lacys Leukemia battle
On Behalf of Lacy Clark, her family would like to ask for your assistance in supporting her throughout her Ongoing Cancer Treatments. Lacy and Nick are parents of 3 children, ages 12, 8, and 5. She worked as a childcare provider from her home until her diagnosis.
Lacy has been Diagnosed with APL cancer. Or Acute promyelocytic leukaemia (APL) happens when the promyelocytes (a type of blood cell) don't fully develop and become cancerous. APL is an 'acute' leukaemia, which means it develops quickly and needs treatment straight away. APL is rare.
Lacy has been in Hospital since May 25, in Saint John since May 27. She is hoping to be back home with Nick and her 3 children by Mid July, but will need to continue chemo treatments for the next 6—8 months as outpatient care with monthly trips to Saint John.
Any Donations will be graciously accepted. ( There is a jar at the Coldstream Convenience Store ) If you would like to donate via e-transfer please contact Nicholas Trecartin. I please ask not to bombard lacy with messages as she is trying to rest and I'd gladly like to get everyone informed feel free to share this post to get the word out to help.. l
