"My name is Coy Lacy Jr. on Saturday after my shift at work, I decided to take my dog for a walk but I never made it home. Unfortunately, I was gunned down in broad day light and my life was taken from me way too soon. I wasn't in any gang, I didn't have any conflicts with anyone, I was just a working man trying to make a better living for my children. Who ever did this didn't just take a life, they took a father, brother, uncle, and son. They took away my future I was only 29 years old. Now my sons will have to grow up without their rock. My main concern was to make sure that my boys were good and that they always had me to look up to.
My family in the midst of grief is asking for help to lay me to rest and to help my sons with their education. I'm asking for help with this financial burden that has unexpectedly cost my family and I also want my sons future to be bright. Anything helps".
