Lacrosse for the Australian Bushfire Crisis

In recent months Australia has experienced their worst bushfire season to date. In the aftermath of the crisis it has been recorded that 46 million acres of land was destroyed, 3,000 homes burned down, over one billion of the country's wildlife killed, and over 30 human lives lost.

This one hits close to home.

There are many Aussie laxers, both past and present, player and coach, that have contributed immensely to the growing of the sport both within the NCAA and on the world stage. To support them, their friends, their families, and their country, we are launching a 'Bushfire Awareness Game' series.

The women's Lacrosse programs in the NCAA that include Australian natives are dedicating one game on their Spring 2020 schedule to raise both money and awareness.

All funds will be donated to Aussie Ark to help rescue and recover some of Australia's most loved wildlife. The money will also contribute to the implementation of long-term solutions to protect the country's most unique ecosystems.

Thank you for your support and your generous donations. We appreciate it more than you know.
