Hello, fellow animal lovers, friends, and family... My family needs help, at a time when I know many people are struggling and needing a lot of help.
Our sweet 3.5 year old boxer, Lacie, ruptured her cranial cruciate ligament in her knee joint & needs immediate TPLO surgery.
She’s the most loving, gentle, & happy wiggle butt there is, but she’s been down and out lately. Her passion is running. You have to spell the words “walk” &“leash” in our house! Just forget about putting tennis shoes on in her presence! Lacie jumps as high as my nose & zooms around the house until it’s time to go! Unfortunately, her love & enthusiasm for running has caused a severe rupture. She needs surgery to be able to walk without pain or assistance. My family tragically lost our beloved 5.5 year old boxer, Maggie, to lymphoma last July but not without battling hard. Not only did a big piece of our hearts leave with Maggie, but Lacie’s heart broke over the loss of her best pal. The grieving process is difficult for ALL of us. It’s been tough financially & emotionally, and I humbly ask for financial assistance for Lacie’s surgery that is estimated to cost between $4500-$5,000.
Words cannot express my gratitude & true appreciation for my best & most loyal friend. It’s never easy to admit you need help, and to put yourself out there.
