Laci and Family need your help!

I am starting this go fund me page for a family very much in need. Their daughter Laci has been diagnosed with chronic kidney disease and is now on mandatory dialysis. She has most recently been diagnosed with hyperoxileria which is a very rare liver disease, this is what caused her kidneys to fail.

Laci’s mom has had to quit her job to stay home and take care of her full time. Laci goes to dialysis 4 days a week in Hamilton while the family is living in Niagara Falls. Laci and her family have a long road ahead and now with only one income it is becoming more and more difficult to keep up with rent, bills and medication costs. Let alone the gas prices travelling to and from appointments. The medication for Lacis hyperoxileria is brand new in Canada, just within the last month. They have been told it is likely to cost thousands of dollars as it is a newly developed medication. For the current treatment plan Laci will need to continue at least a year and a half with dialysis and she will also need a Kidney transplant. The recovery time can take up to 6 months alone. Laci and her family would really appreciate any bit of help to reduce stress while caring for their daughter and keeping her as healthy as possible to help her through this critical time in her life.
