On Saturday, 15th November 2025, our beautiful Lachy — only 28 years old — left this world far too soon. The shock of his sudden passing has shattered the hearts of everyone who knew and loved him. It’s impossible to put into words the depth of this loss, or how empty life already feels without his laughter, his kindness, and his unmistakable presence.

Lachy had a rare gift for making people feel welcome, valued, and at ease. His passions were a huge part of who he was. He was a proud and devoted Broncos supporter, cheering on his team with unwavering loyalty. And he was just as committed to the Central Coast Mariners — if there was a game on, Lachy would be there, soaking up the atmosphere, the energy, and the joy that only football could bring him. Those matches were moments he truly lived for.

His love for poker was another thread that tied him to so many people. He adored the late-night games, the banter, and the laughter around the table. As a tournament director, he was incredibly well-liked — known for his fairness, his easy humour, and the way he made every room feel more relaxed and more connected just by being in it. His presence brought people together in a way that was uniquely his.

As his family faces the heartbreak of saying goodbye, they are also confronted with the unexpected financial pressures that come with arranging a farewell no one ever imagined would be necessary. We are raising funds to help ease that burden — to cover the upfront costs and give his loved ones the space to grieve without added stress.
