Smokey Horse is raising money for Lachlan Batalla and his fam as he undergoes a second bout of leukaemia treatment in as many years.

Braidwood's best rapper and football tragic Lachie made a seamless transition from behind the Horse bar to centre stage!

He's performed a number of times solo, supporting A.Girl and others, as well as with his latest outfit, Great White Dogs.

We'll be launching their debut EP Sunday June 8 at Smokey Horse (without Lachlan sadly!) but have decided to hijack it as a Cancer Fundraiser for our friend and his fam.

All funds raised go directly into Nicki's bank account (keep dreaming Batalla!) and will hopefully help to cover some of the out of pocket expenses for him and his loved ones during his next 4 months of intensive treatment, currently in Canberra and then for 2 months in Sydney.

We'll be running a live auction on Sunday, with local businesses and friends donating some amazing loot which we'll list online soon, thanks again for all the generosity and kindness!!!

We're also asking for brave volunteers (winter is coming) to shave their heads live at the event, not only to show support for Lachlan and to help raise cancer awareness, but to perhaps to have a laugh or a cry amongst friends in an increasingly mad world...
