Lacey’s Cochlear Implant Journey
Donation protected
Hello! As some of you may know last year, my best friend, Lacey Taylor, was diagnosed with SNHL (sensorineural hearing loss) in her right ear and conductive hearing loss in her left.
In February, she will be getting a cochlear implant and although insurance does help pay for this surgery, she will still have a certain percentage that she has to pay. Not to mention all the appointments and tests she has had trying to find a diagnoses and leading up to the surgery.
Lacey is one the strongest women I know and has been through a lot in the last year all while working, being a wife, mother and friend. As much as a struggle this has been for her, Lacey has continued to be there for me no matter what and I feel this is the least I can do to help her through her journey. I’m reaching out in hopes of easing the financial burden on her and her family by helping out with the costs of Lacey’s appointments and surgery, even if it’s just by spreading the word about SNHL. Thanks so much!
