I am so sorry to say, but Lacey unfortunately did not make it through surgery as her body was too weak for the anesthesia. She is now in doggie heaven ️
Last week Lacey began not eating, puking constantly and diarrhea. After taking her to the vet on Friday, she was given medications to help with anti nausea and diarrhea to try and promote her to eat again. She did have x-rays taken but there wasn’t a major concern of a blockage just a literal mineral build up or rock in her system that she had seemed to have already passed. During the weekend, she would still not eat, and stopped pooping but was still puking. Codie and I were syringe feeding her bone broth and puppy formula to try and get as much nutrients as we could. Last night she became so weak she began having tremors and could barely walk. I’ve taken her to the vet this morning and they’re currently pumping her with fluids and doing emergency surgery to figure out/fix what is going on, but there is a chance she won’t make it. With everything that is happening in our lives right now; new house, school etc we aren’t able to pay our bills after paying for this surgery. We appreciate any help we can get.
