My 16-year-old cousin sadly passed away recently after struggling with mental health challenges. This loss has deeply affected all of us, especially because it happened at such a young age. A time in life when we all feel so vulnerable.

Mental health is something very close to my heart, as I know how difficult it can be to grow up facing challenges that many people don’t see. My family has been through a lot, and right now, we’re finding it hard to cope emotionally and financially. I was placed in care when I was 6 years old, and I understand what it feels like not to have the same support or privileges that others might.
