Lacey Jai is my cousin and we grew up very close, spending school vacations, camping trips and holidays together. She is my younger sister's age, so I always felt like I needed to take care of her, just like my sister. She is my Baby Lace and always will be. ♥️
As many of you know, Lacey Jai has been in the hospital with severe medical concerns. I am not at liberty to go into all of the details, but the road was bleak getting here. This is her third time staying at the hospital and in about a month and her second time at UW. Her condition is serious as she fights off infection in her body. She was going septic. We are lucky she is still here on this Earth. This has been so scary for our family.
She is at UW now, in the best of hands, and (fingers crossed) on the road to recovery. It will not be easy, but she can do it!
I have watched my strong, caring cousin provide for and help all of those in need around her. Lacey has the biggest heart and sweetest soul. She inspires so many of us in our time of need.
She could use our help, family and friends.
She has not been able to work and bills are stacking up. She works hard to keep her Grandmother's house. As you can imagine, three hospital stays and all that her recovery entails will be quite expensive, even with medical insurance.
She is not the kind of person to ask for help. She tries to handle it all on her own.
I am asking that we please help her and show her that we care for her as much as she cares for us.
Anything that you can contribute would be appreciated. A little can go a long way of we all come together.
I thank you from the bottom of my heart. And I know Lacey will appreciate all of the love and prayers that you can send her way.
