August 7th, our cousin Lacey was super excited to announce her newest adventure in life.
Mom.
Lacey has happily carried on the ranching legacy at home as well as played basketball on and off this continent. Lacey has always been ready to meet a new adventure head on. The new adventure of Mom has already had some unexpected twists and turns. Lacey had only read as far as chapter 5 in the birthing books before receiving a major plot twist when her sweet little warrior Harper Quinn announced ‘spoiler alert’ by arriving in the world months early.
10/16/2023 at 1pm Harper Quinn Haughian was born. 1 lb 1 oz. 11 inches long.
Now both Lacey and Harper are on an unplanned adventure at St. Vincent’s in Billings. Lacey has been released from the hospital and is staying at the Ronald McDonald House while Harper remains in the NICU. As a micro-preemie Harper will require around the clock care until she can be released to head home. This will be a large financial burden and any help you can give will alleviate this burden.
A medical account has been set up at Stockman Bank to give donations directly.

“New To The Herd” coming February 2024
Surprise!!!!
I’m pregnant.
On my own.
On purpose.
Being part of a big family, I have always known I wanted kids. I thought by this point in my life I would be married and have a couple of kids running around. Well, love and marriage never found me. But I have always stayed strong on wanting a family.
So 3 years ago, I decided to take control and have a baby on my own with the help of a fertility clinic. The road to this point has been a struggle. What I thought would be a maybe 6 months try turned into years of IUI and IVF. And those years have been a roller coaster of emotions. I ended up taking a step back from the world and people to try to understand “Why me?” But those answers never came.
All I knew was I deserve to be a mom just as much as anyone else. And I’m going to be a damn good one!! The love, joy, and happiness this little one has brought back into my life is indescribable. I can’t wait to hold him or her in my arms and start a new chapter of my life.
Further more, I would like to thank my family, friends, God and the endless prayers that have made all this possible.
For those struggling to conceive, know that my thoughts and prayers are with you. You are brave and undeniably strong. Try to trust the journey even when you don’t understand it.
Here’s to my new journey in 2024 and adding MOM to my new title
