Labrador trying to survive sarcoma in her jaw
Donation protected
Hi, I am Paws, but my family and friends call me Woomie. I’m a Labrador who has been living life with joy for 8 years. In early February 2025, that joy turned into fear. My dad felt a hard lump under my jaw. The vet inserted a needle and made my mom and dad very sad when she said it was malignant. Despite being very afraid of vet visits, I’ve been brave every time. In the past few weeks, more strange people have looked at my jaw and gums than I like. They even took pictures of the lump in my jaw, and instead of saying I looked good in the photo, they said "osteosarcoma." Bits of it were removed, and yesterday I met a nice and friendly man named Tom, whom my parents call an oncologist or something like that. Before I knew it, I was napping in a big donut, which they called a CT scan. The treatment is still to come: surgery and chemo… otherwise, I may only have a few more weeks to live and would experience a lot of pain. Mom and Dad have already spent a lot of money on all the tests, and they asked me to start a GoFundMe for all the costs that are still to come… otherwise, I might not get any more treats? Would you be able to spare a little to help me and my mom and dad? We would be forever grateful.
PS: My mom and dad say that if we raise more money than needed for my cancer treatment, I’m not allowed to use it for extra treats, but we will donate it to cancer research for dogs.
