Labrador cliff fall
We have a beautiful 3 year old Labrador named Toby. We took him to Cornwall for a short break this week and unfortunately Toby has suffered a really bad cliff fall. He has been in Truro vets. he was there for the day then he had to be transported to Falmouth pet hospital where he had certain treatments that they couldn’t offer in Truro. Vets have ruled out no internal bleeding and his kidneys have been checked. He has had to have a lot of pain relief. We are currently travelling back to the midlands where he will receive further treatment where Toby will need to stay at the vets for the next few days to be treated and more tests and scans. I don’t know if he has broken his legs yet this is still to be confirmed as he is quite unsteady on his legs and can only stand for a short amount of time. More checks and pain relief will be needed to support Toby with the pain he is currently in. We have already paid out £1800 and this is literally all we have. After speaking to the vets on the way back they have already made it clear that the fees are going to exceed a lot more than what we have already laid out, this has happened at a very unexpected time and we would really appreciate any shares and donations as the vet fees will need to be paid for asap. We are so grateful for any help as we just want our Toby to be ok and receive the care and treatments he needs and we are really hoping he makes a full recovery. We want to really praise the RNLI they saved Toby’s life and acted so quickly. We will also be making donations to them as we are so grateful for everything they do everyday to save people and animals. (Update) - on top of all the treatment already received Toby is under going multiple x-rays, general anaesthetic, so far we have managed to max the bill out to £3400 between the vets in Cornwall and vets back home, any wages of ours will go straight on Toby’s treatment alongside any generous donations from anyone who helps, we would like to say a very big thankyou to the people who have already donated and thankyou to anyone else who further donates or shares this go fund me.
