Our parish is blessed with a priest who serves our community with unwavering dedication and compassion. Day after day, he welcomes parishioners into his office—offering counsel, comfort, and spiritual guidance during life's most challenging and joyful moments. He deserves a space that reflects the beauty of our church and the dignity of his ministry.
Why We Need Your Help
Our church is currently paying off a six-figure building loan, along with paying for renovations to the rectory, which means funds for improvements like this simply aren't available in the budget right now. While our sanctuary reflects the sacred beauty of our faith, our priest's office tells a different story.
The current state of the office:
- Walls painted in a very bright blue with poor application throughout
- Paint drips, chips, and peeling paint covering the walls
- Baseboards, doors, and bathroom all in need of fresh paint
- A mismatched collection of second-hand furniture with no cohesive aesthetic
This is far more than a cosmetic issue. This is the space where our priest meets with parish members during their most vulnerable moments—grief, marital struggles, spiritual crises, and celebrations alike. The space should feel welcoming, peaceful, and reflect the care he provides.
How Your Donation Will Be Used
Professional Painting ($1,100-$1,200)
The scope of work is too extensive for volunteers alone. We need to hire professional help to properly paint all walls, baseboards, doors, and the bathroom to create a fresh, lasting finish.
Furniture & Decor ($300-$400)
We'll purchase thoughtfully selected furniture pieces to create a modern, cohesive, and welcoming environment—transforming the space from a collection of castoffs into a place of comfort and dignity.
Why This Matters
Our priest gives everything to this community. He's there for baptisms and funerals, weddings and hospital visits, religious education and late-night emergencies. He deserves a workspace that honors his service and creates a warm, professional environment for those he serves.
