Dave is a fantastic father, husband, and friend. He has been married to my sister Laura for almost 20 years, and they have a 13 year old daughter Katie.
Earlier this year, at age 49, he was admitted into the hospital ICU. He was told one of his main arteries was 90% blocked, and a stent was placed.
However, his health did not improve, and he sought a second opinion. Doctors discovered Dave’s heart disease was more severe than previously thought. He underwent quadruple cardiac bypass surgery. He was recently discharged and has begun the long road to recovery.
It is unknown when Dave will be able to recover and return to work. He is the family breadwinner. My sister is unable to work due to her chronic illness.
Any donation will help with medical expenses and loss of income. Donations will also help pay for everyday expenses until Dave is able to return to work.
