Hello everyone. I have created this page for my crab sister, Miss Laverne Bernard. It pains me to tell you all that on April 1st, Laverne suffered a major stroke. She was released from the hospital yesterday, 4/10, and is currently continuing her recovery at home. She will face many painful hours of therapy to help her speak, walk, etc.
I met Laverne on August 1, 1989. This was when we both began our band career with the the World Famed GSU Band. While there, she pledged Tau Beta Sigma Sorority. She also pledged Zeta Phi Beta Sorority. She was a busy girl!!
Please help in funding for Laverne's expenses. She will be out of work for some time and in addition to her daily expenses, her medicines and hospital bills are astronomical. You can donate anonymously or leave a message. Anything sent is greatly appreciated.
