Hallo, ik ben Angelique. Ik ben een 48 jarige Vlaamse en ik woon in Den Haag.

3 jaar geleden kreeg ik de diagnose FNS. (Functioneel Neurologische Stoornis)

In augustus 2021 raak ik in één week de volledige controle en aansturing kwijt over mijn lichaam. Op het eerste gezicht leek het of ik verlamd was. Zelfs praten was moeilijik.

FNS kan zich met veel symptomen voor doen. De meeste mensen hebben een combinatie van symptomen. Verlammingen, loopstoornissen, verminderd gevoel in hun huid, schokkende bewegingen, op epilepsie lijkende aanvallen, gehoorverlies of minder goed kunnen zien. En de meeste patiënten hebben voordurend in meer of mindere mate pijn.

Ik heb bijna alle symptomen. En altijd pijn, alsof ik verdrukt word.

Het is nu 2025, ik zit in een rolstoel. Ik heb hulp nodig met alles en de thuiszorg komt 4 keer per dag.

FNS zorgt voor een stoornis in de software, in de aansturing van je lijf. De hardware, botten, spieren, pezen zijn in tact, maar onbereikbaar. De stichting FNS geeft informatie over oorzaak en mogelijke therapiën. https://www.stichtingfns.nl/

Ik wil dolgraag de therapie volgen bij TrainM in Antwerpen. Zij zijn gespecialiseerd in neurologische aandoeningen en ook FNS. https://trainm.com/nl/

Waarom wil ik dit grote bedrag: de zorgverzekering wil deze therapie niet vergoeden. De zorgverzekering stelt dat FNS geen neurologische stoornis is. Train M heeft een advocaat ingeschakeld om mij te helpen, maar tot nu toe zonder resultaat. Train M heeft zelfs een emiritus hoogleraar prof H. Stam een brief laten opstellen voor de verzekeraar. Maar we komen nergens.

In August 2021 I lost complete control and control over my body in one week. At first glance it seemed as if I was paralyzed. Even talking was difficult.

FNS can present with many symptoms. Most people have a combination of symptoms. Paralysis, walking disorders, reduced sensation in their skin, jerking movements, epileptic-like seizures, hearing loss or reduced vision. And most patients have constant pain to a greater or lesser extent.

I have almost all the symptoms. And always pain, as if I am being oppressed.

It is now 2025, I am in a wheelchair. I need help with everything and home care comes 4 times a day.

Why do I want this large amount: the health insurance does not want to reimburse this therapy. The health insurance states that FNS is not a neurological disorder. Train M has hired a lawyer to help me, but so far without result. Train M even had emeritus professor H. Stam draw up a letter for the insurer. But we are getting nowhere.
