It was never an easy life but it was a special life and it ended too soon. A mother, grandmother, sister, cuñada, prima, jefa, and good friend was called back too soon for her loved ones to be prepared.

After a long struggle with cancer and the development of major complications, Vira didn't survive the last fight. The only solace for everyone that knew and loved her is that she's reunited with her baby boy Matt who was also taken way too soon.

Vira's family isn't rich monetarily but they do value the greatest form of wealth which is family and friends. Anyone that knows them well knows they hate asking for charity and handouts but this isn't about them, it's about Vira. She was a strong and good mother and abuela and deserves a proper funeral and service.

The family would never ask anyone to do anything that the family wouldn't be willing to do themselves and would never ask anyone to contribute anything beyond their means. Whatever you can offer will be appreciated and if you can't afford to donate we all understand; this was a sudden and unexpected event that caught everyone off guard.
