La’Shelle Maxine Mitchell
October 18th, 1982-July 19th, 2015
La’Shelle Mitchell was born October 18th 1982 in French Camp, California to Mark Mitchell and Trina Mitchell. Her life started out with crib death syndrome. The first few years were difficult for the whole family. We were always gentle and easy when playing with La’Shelle. By year 4, she was a happy, healthy beautiful little child. Growing up she loved to play sports, go to A’s games, always following her older sister around everywhere and would bring home any animal in need of help. La’shelle had dreams of being a vet or a police officer. At the age of 14th, she became a brittle type 1 diabetic. From this moment on her life became hard. La’Shelle graduated from Tracy High School in California and went a police academy school in Sacramento. During her schooling, her father Mark Mitchell passed away. 11 months later, her brother Preston Mitchell joined him. Her Kidneys started to suffer and she became sick quite often. The academy was put on hold. One beautiful night, she met the man of her dreams.
Nich Covey.
They married in Reno, Navada church where her Mother and Father made their vows. December 24th, Nicholette Stephanie Mitchell was born in Modesto, California. This beautiful little baby gave her hope for a better future. But more suffering was to come. Gastioperises, Renal Failure, Esophageal Stricters, and hyper tension came into her everyday life. Anxiety, anger and depression came along with it. Though the years, she suffered with kidney failures, exploratory surgeries, loads of medicine that didn’t help, starvation and high levels of pain. The last few years, she spent most of it in hospital. She started dialysis in April of this year. In the mist of her body failing, her personal life was following suit.
It wasn’t much longer before her lungs and her heart gave out. July 13th, La’Shelle had cardiac arrest at 4 am and she did not recover.La’Shelle Mitchell passed away peacefully on July 19th 2015 at 6:10 pm at California Pacific Medical Center in San Francisco, California.
Her family is in dire need of support in helping with the cremation and the celebratioin of her life. La'Shelle did not have any life insurance policies.
The Celebration of La’Shelle’s Life will be schedule soon. Please, feel free to leave comments, picture and share your moments you had with her.
It warms my heart to know she was a registered donor. Someone out there will blessed.
