Our Los Angeles area scoliosis support group aims to offer encouragement to people going through all the struggles of scoliosis. We have members who are currently bracing for scoliosis and members who have had surgery. We are looking to raise money to supply Higgy Bears to other patients in the Los Angeles area. Higgy Bears are stuffed animals with scoliosis curves, braces and scars that help encourage patients dealing with scoliosis bracing and/or surgery. We have all found that Higgy Bears and the Higgy Bear organization have motivated us throughout our own scoliosis journeys and hope they can help others like us.
