If you love France, love learning, and love art, we need your help!
La Petite Ecole, the only French/English bilingual preschool in Maine, needs a new home. With your help, we can make this possible and keep La Petite Ecole going.
Established in 2009, La Petite Ecole has thrived for almost 10 years, providing a unique language and arts-based education to children in the Portland area. On June 30th, 2018, the landlord of La Petite Ecole advised with no notice that he was putting the building up for sale and required that the school move by August.
We have until August 15th to raise money and move to a new location before we are forced to leave our current space in the West End.
In order to keep this lovely bit of France up and running, we need $40,000 for a down payment on a new space. The Montessori School in South Portland has just been put on the market and they accepted our offer. La Petite Ecole will be secure in a permanent home, able to welcome children to a beautiful, cozy space for years to come.

We would like to offer French prizes for certain donations:
First donation of $500 or more - a private tour of Paris
First donation of $1,000 or more - a week of your choosing in a farmhouse in Brittany (spring or autumn, plane tickets not included!)
First donation of $1,500 or more - a week of your choosing in a beach house in Brittany (spring or autumn, plane tickets not included!)
