La Milagrosa stands with Colombia. La Milagrosa is raising funds for families and communities affected by the devastating earthquake in Colombia. Founded by four women from Medellín, Salsamentaria La Milagrosa in Brooklyn was built to share the food, music, and warmth of Colombia with their New York community. On August 10, a 7.4 magnitude earthquake struck Colombia and caused severe damage in Chocó, Valle del Cauca, Risaralda, and Caldas. Homes, hospitals, and schools were destroyed, and hundreds of families were left without shelter. Even from far away, La Milagrosa cannot stand by while so many people back home are suffering.

La Milagrosa is organizing community support through its bar and events in Brooklyn and collecting donations to send directly to affected families in Colombia. These funds will help people find shelter, rebuild what was lost, and begin recovering from this disaster.
