At a certain moment in our lives , all of us have been affected by “stupid Cancer” personally or by helping a beloved one combat it. We all know the cost is enormous , for it affects physically, financially as well.
My name is Leslye Verdugo, Jeanette (Doña Maggie ‘ s daughter) has been my best friend since kindergarten actually she’s been like a sister. I consider them family. I took the liberty on creating this GO FUND ME account for their mom.
Margarita Gutierrez Melero better known as “Doña Maggie” was diagnosed with Stage four Sarcoma Aggressive Uterine and Lung Cancer last month August 2018.
Those of you who have had the pleasure on knowing Maggie , know that she is one great human being. She has selflessly been helping other’s in need for decades. Whether its feeding families in need , her yearly Christmas party to provide a warm meal , warm clothes, blankets , her back to school backpacks/school supplies and many more things to name that she has done for everyone. Maggie is not giving up and fighting against this horrible horrible Cancer. She is a strong woman and with the help of her loved ones she continues to fight it.
Many have asked how they can help . This page was created to help with various financial needs, including medical costs due to her limited healthcare coverage through Medicare. Funds will be used to assist with treatment, different medication , care and comfort needs specifically to address the cancers Maggies has been diagnosed with.
Any help is greatly appreciated.

Margarita Gutierrez Melero mejor conosida como “Doña Maggie” el mes pasado fue diagnosticada con Cancer Sarcoma Uterino Agresivo y Cancer en los pulmones etapa cuatro. Ella sigue luchando por su vida y no se resiste a darse por vencida al igual como sus hijos.
Si ustedes an tenido la dicha de conoser a Doña Maggie saben que es un ser humano increíble. Por decadas a ayudado a familias sin recursos. Todos sabemos que cada año no puede falta su cena navideña para las familias de 50 asta 100 familias para poder darles su cena calientita , mandado , cobijas , ropa para el invierno . Mochilas llenas de cosas escolares para el regreso a clases y muchísimas otras cosas que a echo por uno.
Muchos amigos y familiares an prejuntado como pueden ayudar. Por eso hemos abierto esta cuenta para poder ayudar con biles medicos , medicamento lla que la aseguranza Medicare es muy limitada, para gastos financieros como para comida especial, transportación a citas con Doctores en San Diego etc. Los fondos se usaran para ayudar con el cuidado y comodidad de Doña Maggie.
