PROTESI: LA LIBERTÀ DI CAMMINARE E VIVERE

Cari amici e sostenitori,

mi chiamo Moreno, ho 45 anni, sono un soldato e un para atleta, da oramai 13 anni cammino grazie all'utilizzo di protesi alle gambe, Mi rivolgo a voi con umiltà e speranza, perché desidero condividere con voi la mia storia e la mia battaglia per vivere una vita normale, piena di dignità e possibilità.

A causa di un incidente, ho perso le mie gambe. Nonostante questa sfida, non mi sono mai arreso. Il reinserirsi nel mondo “normale” è stato lungo e complicato. Nel Dicembre 2010 mentre uscivo dalla caserma dopo aver espletato il mio servizio, mi recavo a casa, pioveva incessantemente, mi sono ritrovato nel bel mezzo di quello che oggi chiamano "bomba d'acqua", pioveva fortissimo, ho guardato il contachilomentri e segnava 70km/h, in quel tratto di strada non ci sono piazzole di sosta in cui avrei voluto fermarmi, d'un tratto qualcosa mi attraversa la strada, cerco di avitarlo e finisco irrimediabilmente sul guard-rail, che entratomi a guisa di lama nello sportello all'altezza della pedaliera, nell'immediatezza, mi amputa di netto caviglie e piedi.

sono stato soccorso, e dopo circa 16 ore di intervento non c'e stato modo che le mie gambe potessero esser "ricucite".

dopo una settimana di coma farmacologico mi son risvegliato in un letto d'ospedale a 32 anni, senza parte delle mie gambe..e da allora non mi sono arreso, ho cercato di capire chi fossi e sopratutto cosa fossi diventato, dopo un mese di ricovero in ospedale, e due mesi convalescenti a casa, parto per un centro protesi, e li mi vengono fornite le prime protesi con cui ho iniziato il mio "cammino".

Attenzione, però, non sono tutte gratis. Quella che passa il SSN ha un costo che varia , ma è scadente, allora il venditore ti dà l’opportunità di aggiungere la differenza e acquistare un prodotto piu performante, ossia c’è la protesi di ultima generazione, che ovviamente la mutua non passa. Dunque ci sarebbe da mettere la differenza del valore. la spesa per una protesi di ultima generazione o comunque piu performante sarebbe da moltiplicare x2 nel mio caso (dato che sono amputato ad entrambe le gambe) Da questi puoi sottrarne il valore (irrisorio in proporzione) della protesi che passa il SSN. Conclusione: a te disabile amputato ti tocca sborsare tot euro se vuoi una protesi che ti permetta di svolgere le attività quotidiane.

Le protesi di nuova generazione sono un miracolo della tecnologia. Sono leggere, ergonomiche e realizzate con materiali innovativi che offrono un comfort e una funzionalità senza pari. Con queste protesi, potrei finalmente svolgere attività quotidiane con facilità e praticare lo sport che amo, permettendomi di ritrovare una parte di me che è andata persa.

My name is Moreno, I am 45 years old, I am a soldier and a para athlete, for now 13 years I walk thanks to the use of prosthetic legs, I turn to you with humility and hope, because I want to share with you my story and my battle to live a normal life, full of dignity and possibility.

Due to an accident, I lost my legs. Despite this challenge, I never gave up. The reintegration into the "normal" world has been long and complicated. In December 2010 while I was leaving the barracks after having done my service, I went home, it rained incessantly, I found myself in the middle of what today they call "water bomb", it rained very strong, I looked at the odometer and marked 70km/h, in that stretch of road there are no rest places in which I wanted to stop, suddenly something crosses me the road, I try to avitarlo and finish irremediably on the guard-rail, that I enter like a blade in the door at the height of the pedal, Immediately, I cut my ankles and feet clean.

I was rescued, and after about 16 hours of surgery there was no way that my legs could be "sewn up".

After a week of a medically induced coma, I woke up in a hospital bed when I was 32, without a leg.. and since then I have not given up, I tried to understand who I was and especially what I had become, after a month of hospitalization, and two months convalescing at home, I leave for a prosthesis center, and I am provided with the first prostheses with which I started my "walk".

Be careful though, they’re not all free. What passes the SSN has a cost that varies , but it is poor, then the seller gives you the opportunity to add the difference and buy a more performing product, ie there is the latest generation prosthesis, which of course the mutual does not pass. So there would be to put the difference in value. the expense for a prosthesis of last generation or however more performant would be to multiply x2 in my case (since I am amputated to both legs) From these you can subtract the value (derisory in proportion) of the prosthesis that passes the SSN. Conclusion: you amputee disabled have to pay a lot of euros if you want a prosthesis that allows you to carry out daily activities.

With these prosthetics, I could finally do daily activities with ease and practice the sport I love, allowing me to find a part of myself that has been lost.
