Education is Future
Donation protected
On October 20, 2024, we will participate in the Rome half marathon to raise funds for the small school named “Unesco” in Ecuador. This school is located in a small border town with Colombia and offers valuable education to children from neighboring communities, which is crucial for their future.
Why donate?
Ecuador is a small South American country known for its impressive biodiversity. However, it faces numerous social and economic challenges.
Many communities, especially in rural areas, lack access to basic services such as education and healthcare. The quality of education is often low, severely limiting the chances of achieving a better future.
Poverty is widespread, and many families cannot afford school supplies, leading to many children dropping out or not starting school at all.
With each step we take, we aim not only to overcome a personal challenge but also to contribute to providing better learning opportunities for children in Ecuador. Every dollar/euro counts and helps supply the materials and resources necessary to keep the school running.
How does this charity run work?
For every kilometer, you can choose an amount you want to donate. For example, $1/km, which is multiplied by the 21 km of the half marathon. Your donation would then be $21.
Thank you very much for your donation,
