Toni Arellano is the tenor drummer, social media manager, and web master for the Los Angeles County Firefighters Pipes and Drums Band. This campaign has been set up with the oversight and approval of current Band President Todd Emrick and all current Board Members .

About this Fund Raiser

The Los Angeles County Firefighters Pipes and Drums Band ‌ is a registered 501(c)(3) non-profit organization.

To date, all band uniform elements, merchandise, piping instruments, drum refurbishments, instrument lessons, and operating costs have been self-funded by band members.

The goal of this fundraiser is to raise enough money for the purchase of:

- A trailer, to store and transport our instruments, uniforms, and equipment.

- Band Logo wrapping for the trailer.

- 1 (one) gas-powered generator, to provide independent power to the trailer.

- Professional-grade EZ-ups displaying the band logo, to be used during special events for shade.

Our Story

The Los Angeles County Firefighters Pipes and Drums Band was formed in 2011 by the Band President, at the time, Fire Captain Billy Monahan. The goal was to bring the honor and tradition of a highland pipe band to one of the largest fire departments in the country, the Los Angeles County Fire Department.

Since then, the Band's Charter and Board Members have spent years perfecting their skills on their instruments, and have invested great time and effort in establishing a foundation of by-laws and uniform standards and decorum that exemplify the dedication that each band member possesses.

Our Mission

Our mission is to honor past and present members of the fire service, law enforcement, and all the men and women of our country's armed services. Through our music, we intend to bring dignity to funeral services, parades, and memorial services wherever and whenever it is warranted. Following the deepest traditions, we will hold our heads high and our hearts strong for all those who are in a time of need.
