Peter Funesti (Fig), our brother and friend, is fighting cancer that is attacking his liver. He is fortunate to have good medical insurance which covers most of the costs of his medical procedures and treatments. But as you know, going through any serious medical condition incurs expenses that go above what insurance will cover. The Figfund will raise money to help Peter pay for these additional expenses, as well as retaining the services of a cancer researcher to seek clinical trials that may be appropriate for Peter's treatment.
