Shy's Nursing Trip to Australia

I have accepted an invitation to join the Nursing and Health Delegation to Australia from May 23 – June 3, 2015. This opportunity is provided through the International Scholar Laureate Program via membership in Phi Theta Kappa. With juggling, I can afford this journey. Help from friends and community will ease the burden and make the trip more pleasant. I am a mother of two intelligent, energetic, and beautiful children. The eldest, Randy, is 6 year old Wildcat at AJ West Elementary. The youngest is Arzalia. She will be five years old soon and can not wait to join her brother in school. They are unaware that I'm headed for adventure Down Under, but I know these adventures will bless their lives as well as mine. I am a work-study at Grays Harbor College, a full time student in the GHC Nursing Program and a participant in the Parent Teacher Organization at my son's school. Each of these produce interesting challenges that broaden my horizons as a provider. It is also my hope that the hard work and dedication will be a good example for and an inspiration to my children. My “GoFundMe” goal will pay for airfare to and from Australia. This is the only necessary cost that is not covered in tuition. I have applied for a scholarship to assist with the tuition cost and will know will by March 9 if I won or not. Assistance with travel costs and winning the scholarship would alleviate a massive financial burden from my shoulders. Than you for your consideration. Your time is very much appreciated.
