DeAnne is our co-worker and friend who is so gracious and caring of others.She is in need of very important medical treatment.
Having suffered from complications due to Lymes disease for over 6 years and in that time being misdiagnosed, now has an end in sight to her pain and constant fatigue.
This treatment reguires a surgically implanted port, allowing an IV antibiotic made up of several different drugs to be given for 3 months, 5 days a week .
DeAnne has been advised that she should expect to feel very ill during the treatments. Which means she will miss work. How frequently is unknown. What we do know is these treatments will make her whole again.
Having medical bills already from tests and diagnosis over the years ,more money is required for treatments to begin. For the first 8 weeks its a staggering $8000.00. Thats $1000.00 a week, $200.00 a day.
Although she will try to come to work ,it may not be possible on some days. No work means no pay. Those of you know her as the "Bead Girl" in her jewelry world.
