After miraculously raising funds for the down payment required by my surgeon, I received a call from Shady Grove hospital stating the full amount for my insurance's remaining deductible will be due the day of surgery- Monday February 2, 2015. This after receiving test results today indicating my condition is potentially life-threatening without surgery. I have been out of work and non functional for over 5 weeks (and have been bedridden more than 75% of the time for the past 2 years), and have no means of generating this money in time to proceed with essential major surgery. PLEASE help me so that I can get my life back, and return to work helping animals in need!
