Jay was diagnosed with a brain tumor in early 2014. After undergoing surgery in February of 2014, he began to heal and went back to his very full life. He was married in 2014 to the love of his life, and is a loving father to 2 beautiful young ladies who are 11 and 13. He went back to work, went back to the normalicy of going to dances with his daughters, cooking dinners, watching sports, loving his 2 pugs, being a great dad, friend, and husband. His wife was diligent in making sure his health was under control, and in 2015 they received the news that the tumor on his optic nerve was growing back.
Jay has been referred to Boston Massachuesetts General Hospital, where a doctor there has dealt with this diagnosis before. The location of this tumor is forcing Jay and his wife, who live in Virginia, to go north to Boston to receive this medical treatment. They will be there for 6 to 8 weeks and will be staying in the Massachusetts General Hospital Housing, which is what this gofundme is helping to cover.

We love you Jay!! Please stay strong for those of us who love you so much!!

Thank you for taking the time to know a little about Jay's life. If you can donate, please do. If you can not, that is perfectly fine too. Hug your loved ones. And be nice to everyone, because you never know the battle they may be fighting! (Jay and his beautiful wife, Marissa, did not wish to do a gofundme, even though they are not sure how they can pay for their trip to Boston. Unfortunately for them, we all love them dearly. Sorry you two! Love you!)
